Relaunch of Community Volunteering in Bedford Borough
Bedford Borough Council have announced that they are able to relaunch their Community Champion and Park Champion schemes once more, as lockdown restrictions are gradually being eased. However, they are approaching with cautious optimism in order to keep volunteers and staff as safe as possible.

Keep Britain Tidy have announced the annual Great British 'Spring' Clean have announced that their UK-wide clean-up initiative will still go ahead in 2020, from 11 - 27 September, this has been delayed due to Coronavirus.

Face coverings to become mandatory in shops from Friday 24 July
The Government has announced that face coverings are to become mandatory in supermarkets and shops from Friday 24 July, joining public transport where people have had to wear a face covering since Monday 15 June.
