New Recycling – The Early Verdict

The Council has introduced a new recycling system, which came into operation last month. However, it has had some teething problems and doesn't apply everywhere.

Bedford Park Cafe to Re-open

The old cafe is to be re-opened during summer weekends. Many local residents have been keen to see this re-opened as a very worthwhile addition to the park. Liberal Democrat councillors have supported the proposal and are pleased to see it come to fruition.

Lib Dems Celebrate Election Results

Liberal Democrats were the clear winners on Thursday in the elections for Bedford Borough Council. Liberal Democrat Candidates gained 2 seats in total, De Parys from the Conservatives and Kingsbrook from Labour. They also held on to Putnoe, Goldington and Wootton with good majorities.
